It comes at no surprise that the money robbing insurance companies in the Uk are significantly worrying about the future current affairs of their business tactic, especially when driverless cars may actually need to negate any type of insurance (apart from self insurance).

A world of robot cars may still be a long way off it has been reported, but that hasn’t typically stopped some of the more prominent insurance organisations from fretting about their future integration into society.  You may think that they are worrying about the cost to their individual businesses, but they’re not.

The three major insurance companies and an auto parts manufacturer who work very closely together have both mentioned that driverless cars in their annuals reports to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) over the last week which typically will signify a certain coming of age for autonomous vehicle technology and it’s integration into daily lifestyle.
